A Brief History

Charles H. Saint-Vil, founder of Light Up Our Youth Foundation, was orphaned on the streets of Haiti at the age of seven. This experience galvanized him to start this ministry, with a mission to end the cycle of youth hunger and illiteracy in Haiti. In 2006, he left his native home to come to the United States.
